Taylor Swift Shows Off Firm Butt In Short Shorts!
"Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift stopped by a studio for rehearsals for tomorrows MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on August 23, 2014.
Forgotten something? Taylor Swift shows off her very long legs in a maroon sweater and not much else!
Forgotten your skirt? Taylor Swift showed off her long legs in a tiny pair of shorts as she dropped by a studio for rehearsals for the MTV Video Music Awards on Saturday!
She ordinarily shows off her long legs in vintage-inspired and stylish ensembles.
Though on Saturday, Taylor Swift’s pins were put on full display thanks to a pair of barely-there black shorts that were nearly concealed beneath her loose maroon sweater.
The 24-year-old hit-maker was spotted clad in the bottoms as she stepped outside of a studio in Los Angeles, likely prepping for her Sunday performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Taylor teamed her tiny black shorts with a pair of black brogue heels which accentuated her lean legs.
She looked comfortable for the studio session in the cosy jumper, and pulled her hair back into a relaxed pony tail.
Save for what appeared to be an application of eye-liner, Taylor did not wear much make-up for what was likely a sweat-breaking rehearsal.
On Sunday, Taylor will next be taking to the stage of The Forum to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Taylor Swift wears sexy shirt dress… after new single Shake It Off hits No.1 on iTunes!
Chart-topper! Taylor’s new single Shake It Off has gone straight to top of iTunes charts!
She usually prefers more tailored outfits, often cut in a vintage style.
So perhaps taking inspiration from her new single title, Taylor Swift decided to shake things up in a sexy shirt dress.
Spotted visiting her mother Andrea in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, the 24-year-old showed off her long legs in the sheer black ensemble, which she paired with dark sunglasses, black loafers and a large Prada handbag.
Her family time came as the singer hit iTunes with her new single Shake It Off, the first track from her upcoming fifth studio album 1989.
Earlier this week, Taylor nearly had an awkward run-in with ex-boyfriend John Mayer at the Chateau Marmont.
The pair were both dining or drinking at the Sunset Boulevard venue separately on Wednesday night.
Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” Video Is a Giant Dance Party!
Taylor Swift is a girl of many, many talents. Dancing is…not one of them.
But nobody seems more aware of that than Swift herself. So much so, in fact, that she’s devoted a whole music video—for her latest insanely catchy single, “Shake It Off”—to making fun of her lackluster dancing skills.
The best part? Swift mocks herself by dancing with some of the best in the business, in a crazy spectrum of styles—everything from classical-tutu ballet to hardcore hip hop, with a little cheerleading and rhythmic gymnastics thrown in for good measure. And that means we get to see some of our favorite people doing the pretty version of the choreography as Swift tongue-in-cheekly ugly-ducklings her way through it.
It’s all good silly fun. And the normal-people dance-off that concludes the whole shebang? Pure joy—especially once you realize that all of the non-pros are Swift superfans, chosen from her various social networks. D’awww.
Shake It Off!! Taylor Swift twerks, gyrates, and goes all-out in her new music video!
Taylor Swift’s latest music video is titled ‘Shake It Off’ and revolves around her talking about her “haters”.
Known for her songs like, ‘Love story’ or ‘22’, ‘Shake it off’ came across as a bolder attempt from her previous work.
In an interview, Swift was quoted saying, “I just wanted to see what would happen if you dropped me in the middle of all these street performers and trained dancers. And that’s what the video is all about.”
The video sees her gyrating, twerking and shaking a let with different kinds of cliques, trying to fit in.
From hip hop, electronic, ballet, cheerleaders and pop music, the video touches on all major genres of music.
'Shake it off' is a part of her upcoming album '1989', named after her year of birth.
'1989' is due to hit the shelves in October.
Taylor Swift Dismisses the Haters, Dances With Fans for New Song ‘Shake it Off’
After a week of dropping hints, Taylor Swift finally hired a skywriting plane last Friday to spell out “TAYLOR SWIFT 8/18 5PM YAHOO” above New York City, suggesting to fans that the “22” singer might finally be dropping some new music from her much-anticipated fifth album. When the clock struck 5 p.m. EST on Monday, Swift delivered: As part of her Yahoo! live stream, Swift debuted her new single “Shake It Off” in the form of an impromptu dance party with the studio audience. Swift also revealed that 1989, the follow-up to 2012’s Red, is set for release on October 27th and will be her “first straight-up pop album.” 1989 refers to the singer’s birth year, and Swift revealed that the music of the late-Eighties – “a time of limitless potential” – had a huge impact on her new LP, right down to the album cover: a Polaroid photo of the singer.
"Shake It Off" was co-written by Swift, Max Martin and Shellback, with the latter two producing the track. Martin and Shellback previously worked with Swift on the hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Immediately following the Yahoo! stream, 1989 was made available for pre-order on Swift’s official site (though her site crashed immediately following her announcement). Swift also revealed that the deluxe edition of the album will feature an envelope of 13 Polaroid photos and three bare bones versions of tracks that Swift recorded into her phone.
"I’ve had every part of my life dissected — my choices, my actions, my words, my body, my style, my music," Swift tells Rolling Stone about the new single. "When you live your life under that kind of scrutiny, you can either let it break you, or you can get really good at dodging punches. And when one lands, you know how to deal with it. And I guess the way that I deal with it is to shake it off." Swift is also scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards in Englewood, California on August 24th, which is as good a venue as it gets to debut "Shake It Off" live.
Finally, Swift premiered the “Shake It Off” music video, which she filmed in June over the course of three days in Los Angeles. Directed by legendary director Mark Romanek, the visionary behind Nine Inch Nails’ “Closer” and Janet and Michael Jackson’s “Scream,” the video finds Swift adopting a series of personas, including cheerleader, hip-hop B-girl and Lady Gaga-esque performance artist. “All I think about are metaphors and cats,” Swift said on the livestream. “And life can be greatly reflected in your willingness to dance.”
"It was so much fun. I woke up every day of that shoot and couldn’t wait to get to set," Swift tells Rolling Stone about the video shoot. "We had twerking, which was so funny. Those girls were trying to teach me how, and it’s just never gonna happen. I tried really hard. They were teaching me what they do, and there’s like a science to it – they’re like digging their heels into the floor without you seeing their legs move, but their butts’ moving. It’s mind-blowing to me. They were explaining it all to me, and it’s so above my comprehension of how to understand your body."
As for the video’s concept, which finds Swift unable to master the art of moshing and ballet among other dance moves, Swift says, “It takes a long time to figure out who you are and where you fit in in the world. I’m putting myself in all these awkward situations where the dancers are incredible, and I’m having fun with it, but not fitting in. They’re doing the most beautiful things, and I’m being embarrassingly bad at it. It shows you to keep doing you, keep being you, keep trying to figure out where you fit in in the world, and eventually you will.”
Taylor Swift gyrates in denim hotpants!
Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna – pretty much every lady in the charts has tried her hand at twerking.
And now, queen of the squeaky clean Taylor Swift is joining in on the craze.
The serial celeb dater became the most unlikely star to ever gyrate in short shorts as she embraced twerking for her new video, Shake It Off.
In uncharacteristically raunchy scenes, the 24-year-old shakes her backside in denim hotpants while a troupe of dancers twerk behind her.
Draped in gold jewellery, Taylor then crawls between the legs of her curvaceous dancers while staring up at their jiggling behinds.
As far as you can get from the sugar-coated Love Story, then.
But the fixation on Miss Swift’s derrière doesn’t stop there, as the I Knew You Were Trouble singer even gyrates while wearing a ballerina tutu.
Tay’s poppy new single is a sort of middle finger to the haters, with the country starlet poking fun at her public persona.
She sings: “I go on too many dates, but I can’t make ‘em stay, that’s what people say.”
Taylor is of course referring to her string of high-profile boyfriends, including Harry Styles, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.
The blonde even tries her hand at a sort of rap, saying: “My ex-man brought his new girlfriend, she’s like oh my god.”
Um, are you trying to dispel or confirm your boy-obsessed image, Taylor?
The many faces of Taylor Swift: Pop star goes from ballerina to hotpants-wearing fly girl in new music video Shake It Off!
Bringing the attitude! Taylor Swift goes through many transformations in her new music video Shake It Off!
She’s known for transcending genres in her music.
And for her latest music video Shake It Off Taylor Swift proves she really can do it all as she assumes various personae - from ballerina to hip hop dancer.
The 24-year-old unveiled the video on Monday via live stream on Yahoo, where she also announced the release date for her new album 1989, due October 27th.
Talking about the concept for both the song and video of Shake It Off, Taylor said: ‘The idea that people can say whatever they want about us at any time, and we cannot control that.’
The clip opens with the blonde beauty stretching gracefully on a barre with fellow dancers in leotards.
It then cuts to Swift dressed in street gear surrounded by break dancers as she carries a boom box.
The 22 singer is outfitted in leather trousers, a flat billed cap, and a hoodie as she mugs toughly for the camera whilst men flip about around her.
It soon shifts back to Taylor doing ballet, this time in a tutu as dancers pirouette around her before she breaks into some comical hip thrusting.
Other characters she embodies in the fast moving video include a cheerleader, a late Nineties rocker in a black turtleneck and matching jeans, and a modern dancer.
But her most striking persona is that of a music video fly girl, dressed in cut-off denim shorts and leopard printed top.
Standing tall in white shiny high tops, she is covered in gold chains as she booty shakes with a troupe of fellow girls.
At one point Taylor crawls on all fours between the legs of backup dancers, even humorously sneaking a peek of their derrières in the booty shorts.
The various shifts in personae may be an allusion to the current shift in Taylor’s artistry - from country music to mainstream pop.
To that end Swift sings, ‘Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate,’ before advising her fans (and perhaps herself) to ‘Shake it off’.
